Application

It can be used for DIY players to do quenching, annealing, and other heat treatments for small parts. It can also be used with a graphite crucible to smelt gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and other metals. It is also used for discharge, generator voltage inverter, etc.


Notes

1. This unit requires electronic knowledge and ability, please make sure you know how to use it.

2. Please note that the product generates a lot of heat. In addition to the pole plate and components generating a lot of heat, the heat generated by the copper tube is also very large. You need to prepare the water-cooling mechanism separately by purchasing a small water pump and a 6.56ft rubber tube with a diameter of 0.16".

3. Please note that you should be careful when using a switching power supply because high-power switching power supplies usually have a soft-start function, i.e., the output voltage rises slowly. If the voltage rises to 10V before connecting to the induction heating circuit, the circuit will not vibrate due to insufficient voltage, which will make the two MOS tubes conduct at the same time and burn out the components, so you must adjust the voltage of the switching power supply to stabilize before connecting to the induction heating circuit.

4. Please note that when heating metal objects, do not heat the metal directly. Otherwise, the power supply may be overloaded. Please add a 35A fuse or ammeter (not included) for better air switching.

5. Although this driver board can withstand 40A current, it is recommended not to exceed 48V 35A to avoid accidents and damage.

6. The minimum input voltage of this module is 12V, which does not mean that all 12V power supplies can be used.  Moreover, a 12V power supply can easily cause the output voltage of the power supply to drop, which is very dangerous to use. It is recommended to use a 36V 20A power supply for induction heating.

7. If you find that the MOS tube is hot, first consider whether the power output meets the requirement. Do not empty the circuit board, otherwise, it will emit high-frequency noise and burn the MOS tube.

8. Induction heating power is very large, so the heat is normal, and a good job of heat dissipation is required. For induction heating, a power supply is recommended to use a more than 48V 50A switching power supply. If the power supply exceeds 24V, the power supply will exceed 20A. The higher the voltage, the higher the current, the higher the heating power, and the faster the heating speed.

9. Please allow the slight color difference caused by the shooting light and a 1-3cm error due to manual measurement, and make sure you do not mind before you order.
